Bakmi is one of the types of noodles served by Chinese traders to Indonesia. Bakmi are also often called yamien or yahun. Bakmi is also a famous food especially in "Chinatown" areas in Indonesia. Usually noodles have been adapted using Indonesian spices. The thickness of the noodles is between Chinese Mian and Japanese Udon, besides that there are various variations of noodles in Indonesia.
